Reef Pirates Diving is owned and operated by Sean Deming and Konrad Kendrick. Being divers themselves, they saw the need for a more personalized diving experience here on Oahu. Instead of focusing on quantity, they chose to focus on quality. While other companies were worried about profit margins, Reef Pirates Diving concerned itself quality, personalized Oahu scuba diving.
Reef Pirates Diving does not operate a retail store. We do not have a huge showroom with tons of gear for sale. We are not interested in retail sales. Frankly, we don't want to be inside a store all day, we want to be diving. Since we don't operate a retail store, we don't have the overhead that alot of the dive shops have. As a result, we aren't forced to play the numbers game. This allows us to take smaller groups, offer a more personalized service, and maintain some of the lowest scuba diving prices on the island of Oahu.
Additionally, when you dive with Reef Pirates Diving, you are diving with the owners. While most companies leave your experience in the hands of hired guns, we do not. We are there for every dive. As far as we know we are the only company on the island that can boast this.

Sean Deming
Konrad Kendrick
Born in Santa Cruz, California in 1972, Sean first tried scuba diving at the age of seventeen and was instantly hooked. After more than twelve years in the semi-conductor business working for companies such as LSI Logic and Intel, Sean decided to give up the corporate world and pursue his true passion - Scuba Diving. On his days off you'll most likely find him in the water somewhere diving for fun, or searching for new dive sites.
Born in Little Rock, AR in 1963. Konrad studied music at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has performed and recorded in several bands throughout Oahu - Hawaii, and toured the U.S., Far East and Caribbean. Konrad's love of Oahu scuba diving led him to partner with Sean and form Reef Pirates Diving. When he isn't touring the world, you'll find Konrad here in Oahu - underwater with his video gear capturing memories.
