The Turtle Canyons (east) dive site, which is roughly a mile off of shore, is the perfect site for a shallow relaxing dive. Though this site generally has less turtles than our Waikiki turtle canyons site, it offers a better chance at seeing the rare Hawksbill sea turtle. Additionally, there are a huge variety of eels that call this reef system home. With depths from 30 to 40 feet, this is a great site for beginners, students and anyone else looking for a great shallow reef dive. Because of its shallow depths and clear water, this is also a great place for the non-divers in your group to snorkel.
