YO257 Shipwreck (depth = 65 - 110 feet)
Originally commissioned in the 1940s, the 165 foot long YO-257 was a Navy refueling vessel that served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. It was deliberately sunk in 1989 by the Atlantis Submarine company as part of their submarine tour. With depths between 65 and 110 feet, it also made this a wonderful wreck dive for certified scuba divers.  Eagle ray and sea turtle sightings occur almost daily at this site.  Large eels, amber jacks, sting rays, and white tip reef sharks are also very common at this site.  Fill out our online reservations form and dive the YO-257 with Reef Pirates Diving.
