About the Advanced Open Water Diver Course

You can take this course after completing the Open Water Diver PADI certification to advance your diving knowledge and skills. Enjoy your adventure dives in beautiful Oahu while you get your advanced certification!

There are two required dives — Deep and Underwater Navigation — and you choose the other three for a total of five dives.

During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks, and time.

Be sure to check our scuba certifications FAQ page for answers to some of the most common questions regarding our Oahu scuba certification courses, and feel free contact us if you have any other questions or would like to make a reservation for one of our courses. Mahalo!

PADI eLearning Courses

You can take care of all the book work, quizzes, and tests before you arrive with eLearning —  a web-based training offered through the PADI website for an additional fee. It allows you to get a head start on your PADI certification course by completing all the academic portions (reading, knowledge reviews, waivers, tests and quizzes) before arriving at our facility.

You can find more information on eLearning here. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding the PADI eLearning.
